What do you get when you attempt to combine skateboarding, underground racing/drift culture, high-street fashion, and general hood-rat shenanigans, add a dash of Japan and New Zealand for good measure? Well, you get whatever the hell Straygang is I guess.

Straygang is the embodiment of the lifestyle your mum never wanted you getting involved in. Dirty little street urchins getting up to ill-advised activities on the daily, doing rad sh*t and hoping that today isn't the day they get arrested. But hey, if the cuffs do come out, at least they'll look good in all that security camera footage wearing SG.

Okay, but on a serious note: Straygang makes clothes, jewellery, and accessories, and proper good-quality sh*t too. Gear that can take a hit and keep going, not some here-today-gone-tomorrow fast fashion crap. Buy it, abuse it, destroy it, just make sure you do some mad sh*t while wearing it, that's the only prerequisite.

Developed heavily while I lived in Japan, Straygang is a passion project I've built from the ground up, while having a hand in every step of the process: clothing design, website design, packaging, product sourcing, advertising, and all the other gazillion jobs that come with building and running a brand like this. It's evolved alongside both me and the people who rep it, and it always will, but at its core it's an expression of freedom and individuality.
